Loss of job news due to Corona!

I wasn't spared from Corona.. Though it didn't affect me medically but career wise yes! As usual I was going about my day and completed my work by noon.. Lunch and little nap done.. I was about to have my tea time when I got a missed call followed by a message from my boss saying call me asap. I called her and then she called me back within second.. I could hear her voice was shivering and filled with sadness as she announced, ".. unfortunately we have a very veryy bad and sad news for you.." Her shivering words still echo in my ears till now.. She was the nicest and cooperative boss.. I got to hear from my other colleagues that she was really sad and couldn't digest that fact till now.. She tried her best to see if i could stay back.. but the PANDEMIC- C O R O N A! After that call, I was totally blank for some minutes.. And being alone in my apartment, I didn't know how to process this.. I sent one similar msg, " i lost my job" to my closed ones.. And trust me I am super blessed and grateful to have my dear ones by my side even though they were away..

On the very same day, I don't know from where i got some energy or that little push that I updated my CV and applied to 1 or 2 companies.. And the very next day I got an interview invitation (but later on that company also cut down staff and freezed the interview and that post) But that gave me some kind of hopes.. I started checking out the unemployment procedure and at same time was doing my applications.. Post being replaced by trainees or being freezed was not something during this pandemic!

I repeat again - one's happiness should not be attached to job else once this is gone..your happiness will also be gone.. Happiness should not be conditional or attached!
